Dr. Kym Baum received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology
from Emory University. She joined the staff of Nicoletti-Flater
Associates in 1997 as a Clinical/Police Psychologist.
She specializes in high stress occupations and violence
and consults with corporations, government agencies, and
civic groups on topics including threat and violence risk
assessments, psychological evaluations for high intensity
occupations, adjustment to changes in lifestyle and life
situations, stress management and peak performance,
parenting after divorce, relationships in high stress
occupations, identifying and defusing potentially violent
situations, trauma debriefing and intervention, verbal/nonverbal
communication training, and working with special populations.
She also works as a psychotherapist with individuals, couples,
families, and children. Prior to joining Nicoletti-Flater,
Dr. Baum received post-doctoral training in Clinical Neuropsychology at the
James A. Haley Veteran's Hospital in Tampa, FL and in Clinical and Developmental
Psychology at the University of Denver.
